Hop, Skip and a Jump!

Fun at Sally's salon - first Patricia gave a brief talk on Women of Rockabilly (first of a series?) - then a brief demonstration - thx CHARLINE for coming out :) ...

Would be remiss not to mention that the salon was crowned by the presence of (most of) ALT, who performed a modern dance that seemed to speak of the coordinated alienation of modern life (my interp, I'm open to correction by those who know better!). Their new song, "I do yoga and my life still sucks" brought the house down.

Here we are in the corner of the lobby at the recent Ottawa V-Day production of the Vagina Monologues. That mysterious masked woman in the corner, the one with the fiddle, is Charline Dequincey. She will be playing with us at our next Elmdale show... save the date: APRIL 15th. It's a Thursday night, so be sick the next day, people.
